AI for Barristers' Chambers
Chambers work differently from law firms. Barristers take instructions matter by matter from different solicitors, chambers infrastructure is shared while practice is individual, and the clerks' room has workflows of its own. We design AI tools around how chambers operate: authority research and case law monitoring for members, and workflow tools for clerking teams. We work with sets in London and across the UK.
What we build for chambers
- Authority mapping and case law alerts
- CasePulse indexes more than 56,000 UK judgments, updated daily from The National Archives, with more than 411,000 citation connections. For a barrister, that means tracing where an authority has been cited and reading how later courts dealt with it. We can also build alerts for new judgments that touch your practice areas or cite authorities you rely on.
- Case preparation support
- Bundle summaries, chronology drafting and a first pass through documents, with every output written as a draft for counsel to review and each point linked to the page it came from. AI handles the reading volume; the barrister applies the judgement.
- Clerks' room workflows
- Diary management, fee tracking and enquiry triage create a steady administrative load. We build tools that take on the routine parts of clerking work and leave the relationships the clerks' room runs on with the clerks.

- CasePulse: UK case law tracker56,000+ UK court judgments since 2003, updated daily from The National Archives, with citation graphs and practice-area filters.
- ContractScanner: private AI contract reviewPaste a contract or NDA for a first-pass risk review. The model runs in your browser, so the text never leaves your device.
AI for Barristers' Chambers: common questions
Can individual barristers use your tools, or only whole sets?
Both. CasePulse is free for any barrister to use. Custom builds are usually commissioned by chambers, but we can scope tools for individual practitioners with specific research needs.
How do you handle confidentiality for instructed matters?
Case preparation tools are designed to keep papers under chambers' control. We process on the device where possible and use UK or EU data residency where not, and papers are not used to train third-party models. Every output links back to its source document so counsel can check it.
Do you take on chambers outside London?
Yes. Many commercial and common law sets are based in London, and we work with sets on circuit too. Delivery is mainly remote, with on-site sessions where they help.
