AI for VC and PE firms, with every output linked to its source
For funds of 10 to 50 people in the US and the UK. We take one investment workflow, such as sourcing, first-pass diligence, portfolio monitoring or reporting, and build it around the tools and data your team already uses, without you having to hire and manage an AI team.
Each recurs often enough to measure, runs on material the fund already holds or can access, and ends in something a partner can check. We build one, on your data, before suggesting a second.
Sourcing
Signals from filings, company registries, websites and hiring pages, gathered into a shortlist that fits your thesis, with the evidence behind each name so a partner can see why it is there.
First-pass diligence
Public-record checks, document review and question lists prepared before the partner meeting, with each finding linked to the record it came from.
Portfolio monitoring
Figures and updates from portfolio company reports collected into one view, with changes flagged and each number traceable to the report it came from.
LP and IC reporting
Quarterly updates and investment committee packs drafted from your own data, for your team to check, edit and send.
For operating and platform partners
AI support your portfolio companies can call on.
Portfolio companies ask their investors about AI. We can be the people you send them to, so your platform team does not have to become an AI delivery team.
01
AI office hours
Founders and operators from your portfolio bring their AI questions to us, so your platform team does not have to answer them all.
02
One-workflow diagnostic
For a company with a real need, we look at one workflow, its data and its owner, and say plainly whether AI is worth applying there.
03
A working build
If it is, we build it with the company’s team and keep it running. The company engages us directly; you see the progress.
Who builds it
Founder-led, from the first call to the working build.
A founder scopes the workflow with you and leads the build, so you deal with the same person throughout rather than a team you have not met. We also build and run our own products, including ShieldIQ, the enforcement-record check further down this page.
We start with the piece of work that costs your team the most manual time, prove it on your own material, then decide what comes next.
Outputs show their sources
A shortlist, a diligence finding or a portfolio figure is only useful if someone can check it. Each one links back to the filing, document or report it came from.
Your data stays inside agreed boundaries
You decide what the workflow can reach. Access, where processing happens, retention and deletion are agreed in writing before the build starts.
A diligence check you can run now
Check a US company’s enforcement record.

Compliance risk brief
ShieldIQ
Enter a company name and get a brief drawn from OSHA, EPA, CFPB, OFAC and DOL enforcement records, with links to the records it used. No signup. It shows, on public data, the kind of first-pass diligence step we would build around your own deal flow.
Is this for the fund or for its portfolio companies?
Both, as separate pieces of work. For the investment team, we build a workflow the fund itself uses. For operating and platform partners, we support portfolio companies directly, through office hours, a diagnostic and a build, and the company is our client.
Which systems can you work with?
Whatever the workflow runs on today: your CRM, spreadsheets, data rooms, email and portfolio reports. We confirm access and boundaries in writing before anything is built.
How do you treat confidential deal and portfolio data?
You decide what the workflow can access. Processing, retention and deletion are agreed before we start, nothing is used to train third-party models, and outputs keep a link to their source so your team can check them.
Do you work with US and UK funds?
Yes. We are based in London and work remotely with funds in the US and the UK, with call times in both UK and US business hours.
What does a first build cost?
It depends on the data, the systems and how many exceptions the workflow has, so we scope it after one conversation. The proposal states the price, what will be working, what stays manual and what production would still need, before you commit.
Start with one investment workflow.
Tell us which part of the investment process takes your team the most manual time, and what it runs on today. We’ll reply by email with what we would build, what stays with your team, and what a first version would take. You don’t need to send any data.
