A Law AajKal judgment page: a Supreme Court arbitration ruling summarised in plain English, with versions in eight Indian languages

The operating problem

Indian legal professionals need to follow a large and continuously changing body of Supreme Court material. Raw judgments are lengthy, search intent varies, and timely awareness matters alongside deep research.

The product had to combine corpus ingestion, search, readable summaries, notifications, user accounts, and subscription delivery across web and mobile surfaces rather than stop at a one-off chatbot demonstration.

How we approached it

Law AajKal is presented as a complete product system: judgments are ingested and processed on the server, users can search by practical legal identifiers, summaries make initial review faster, and notifications surface new material.

Web, iOS, and Android delivery required the product, data pipeline, account model, billing, and notification system to operate together. The published application and product site provide independent surfaces where that work can be inspected.

Law AajKal's Full Record searched for arbitration: Supreme Court judgments with highlighted summaries, tags and citations

What was built

  • A judgment ingestion and processing workflow for a corpus of 75,000+ Supreme Court decisions.
  • Search by case number, parties, date, and topic.
  • Readable judgment summaries with access to the underlying legal material.
  • Web and React Native mobile product surfaces.
  • User accounts, subscription billing, and push-notification delivery.

Constraints and trade-offs

  • Legal summaries must never be represented as a substitute for reading the judgment or obtaining legal advice.
  • Source changes and new judgments require a maintained ingestion process.
  • Search quality depends on consistent metadata and careful handling of legal names and citations.
  • Mobile notification usefulness depends on timeliness without overwhelming the user.

Evidence you can inspect

  • The product has a public website and published mobile application listing.
  • The corpus count and feature statements are product-operating facts already disclosed on SupaMakers and Law AajKal surfaces.
  • No anonymous testimonial or unverified commercial-impact metric has been added to this build note.

What this demonstrates

Law AajKal demonstrates the difference between a model feature and a maintained AI product: corpus operations, user experience, delivery channels, billing, and source-aware research all have to work together.
