Leadership alignment is the single strongest predictor of AI adoption success. It is not enough for the CTO to care. The question is whether the people who control budgets, set priorities, and shape culture understand AI well enough to direct it.

In regulated financial services, governance is not optional. The question is whether your existing compliance frameworks have been extended to cover AI, or whether AI is operating in a policy vacuum.

This is the dimension most firms underestimate. AI does not improve vague, undocumented processes. It improves structured workflows with clear inputs and outputs.
